We are the oldest Clan MacTavish organization by 9 ½ years and were established by
Dugald MacTavish, the 26th chief of the clan. The current chief has “disavowed” us
when we confronted him on his repeated thefts from our organization. We continue
to support our names, history and genealogy as we have always done - without regard
for “loyalty oaths” as required by the 27th chief to build his ego.

DID YOU HEAR??
Some Thom(p)sons have gotten together from various parts of the world and are
researching the possibility of a Thom(p)son clan or house! It’s going to take
several years to evolve, but they need you to sign up on their forum with your real
name and add any Thom(p)son research you may have to what’s ongoing. The more research,
the better chance of having what’s needed.
